The most important new ones are:
- C.4.3. All part of the wheelchair, except the wheels (turning parts) shall be at such height that the ball can roll underneath.
- D.3.8. 1 minute instead of 1/2 minute for defect wheelchair or injury
- E.1.2. and E.1.3.: Every time the referee whistles the time will be started/stopped, instead of halting the match in case of certain offences/situations.
- F.3.4. Hooking around or between the wheels is not allowed
- H.1.4. Pushing in / colliding / ramming the boundary is not allowed
- I.1.1.: A green card will be shown in case of an official warning.
- I.1.3.: A second green card will give a yellow card (2 minutes time penalty)
- J.2.4. Referee ball: players shall put the sticks in 90 degrees on the line on either right side of the ball.
- J.5.: Penalty shot (shoot out from centre line, like in Ice Hockey and Floorball) instead of a penalty stroke from 5 m. of the goal.
